We went out to watch “老师嫁老大 Ah Long Pte Ltd” on a Tuesday noon.

It’s a really hilarious movie from Singapore. You should go check it out.

“ Ah Long Pte Ltd is a light-hearted black comedy about the triad world and the money-lending business. The movie takes on a humorous and sarcastic treatment on the underworld. It depicts how a young lady, Li Hua (Fann Wong) tries to restructure her money-lending triad into a professional and ‘loving’ triad that stands against the use of violence after she takes over from her triad leader (Richard Low) who retired. Her various restructuring plans (which are no doubt very creative) bring about hilarious results.

Li Hua tired of her mother’s constant nagging to get married, she finally relented and proposed to Mr Fang (Mark Lee), an effeminate dance instructor cum image stylist. Surprised to many and even herself, Mr Fang accepted the proposal. The unusual union, despite the misfits, soon blossom into love. “

The Ravers Day-out at PowerNet

We supposed to go out to town together with another friend, Beverly.  Unfortunately, she has a “unexpected” fever.

So our day was called off.

But that didn’t stop the five of us (the Ravers) from having fun today.  We decided to go to PowerNet, a cybernet close to town.

We supposed to play DotA but we had our own mood and played different computer games.

Raymond, Liew, and I played “Call of Duty 4″.  Tan and Ezra played DotA with some other friends and Tan’s cousin. 

The Birth of DotA Ravers

This group consists of DotA addicts that obviously love playing DotA so much! XD
We were friends in college on the first day of college life and became best friends since.

DotA Ravers was only formed in January 2008 but we were already playing as a team since May 2007.  That time, there were only 4 of us: Charlton, Ezra, Raymond, Tan.
When DotA Ravers was formed, we welcomed one new member, Liew.
